The Cork International Hotel was as always friendly, comfortable and welcoming. The breakfast is wholesome and plentiful and perfect.

Mark scored 5 / 5 on 23/11/2022

An absolute gem of a hotel, stylish, comfortable, clean and so relaxing, the food was excellent and not overly priced, plenty of staff on duty which were all very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay there again!! It's a little bit out of Cork City which is a bit awkward if your not driving and a taxi averages €20-€25 one way depending on traffic..

Tony scored 5 / 5 on 06/11/2022

We stayed for one night on a return from the UK. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in in Ireland. The food was excellent and the bar/restaurant was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of a high standard. We would stay there again.

myself and my husband have stayed in this hotel a few times and we are never disapointed, the staff are lovely, the room service was very prompt, the value with the lidl breaks is amazing,, the only small problem we find is the lobby is very cold and not too comfortable when sitting there at night, and it was only september and nice and warm out, im wondering about winter, but we will be back.

I booked this hotel for a 2 night stay on the weekend of 3rd to 5th June 2016, the location was spot on, the hotel, the staff, the food and the people were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and they all done a brilliant job. we had a bed a breakfast booking and both the room and breakfasts were excellent, nothing more could be done just keep things as they are. i did order room service on both nights and again this was fantastic. i would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting cork and I do plan a re visit next year. Brilliant place well done to all.

My Wife and I stayed for 1 night (Saturday January 30th) . Our experience of the Hotel was truly excellent. On arrival the person at the Reception desk ( His name was Manny) was so pleasant and helpful .He provided us with all of the necessary information relating to the Hotel and printed out a bus timetable for travel to the City and back to the Hotel. As it turned out Manny was also on the same bus journey to the City and on arrival at the bus station waited for us to disembark from the bus in order to see if we required any help with directions around the City. ( obviously he didn't need to do this as he had finished his work for the day) The room was very comfortable and breakfast the next morning was superb. The staff in the Restaurant could not be more helpful. We didn't use any of the other Hotel facility's as the stay was so short. Visiting the Cork International Hotel was a wonderful experience all round and we will return to your hotel on our next visit to Cork City.

The Cork International hotel is an airport hotel but way exceeds expectations in both service and value for money. We first stayed here when it opened a number of years ago but it has been totally revamped since then. Lovely hotel, great staff with plenty of nice touches to make our stay a great experience. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Deirdre scored 5 / 5 on 15/08/2015

I thought this hotel was very good. It has lots of extras you don't get in other hotels. The relaxation room that's designed like an airplane and doubles as a cinema in the evening for kids is a nice touch. They have a games room with a Wii in it too! Hotel is only 20 minutes from Cork, Fota, Mahon Point and Kinsale. The best thing about this hotel was the staff who were all helpful, friendly and smiling which is a very rare thing in hotels anymore. I would highly reccommend this hotel. Especially for families!

Elb scored 5 / 5 on 10/08/2015

We stayed for one night with our two children and had a fantastic time. The room was very spacious and comfortable and the playroom and cloud 9 kept the children busy!

Anita scored 5 / 5 on 27/07/2015

We stayed at the Cork international recently for a brief break in Cork - our children absolutely adored the Cloud 9 cinema ( and my other half appreciated the massage chairs too! ). Our room was beautiful, absolutely spotless - and we were upgraded! Nice surprise Breakfast was really excellent too, great selection and a lovely dining room too. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We can't actually fault this hotel at all, and have all agreed this is where we'll stay when we're next in Cork

Shinabhil scored 5 / 5 on 21/07/2015

Well impressed with The Cork International Airport Hotel, its modern, spacious, clean and most importantly, at night, its quiet.. Every staff member I met was welcoming, polite & cheerful. Breakfast was one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I have had. We were going to a show in the city centre, we took a taxi and the cost each way was 17 euro.

Annie scored 5 / 5 on 23/06/2015

We were greeted on arrival with an extremely helpful and efficient young man. So that was a good start!!! And in fact the whole experience just followed the same lines. Very recommendable. Our room was very comfortable and large.

Cath scored 5 / 5 on 05/06/2015

excellent hotel. Reception staff v. professional. Food is great in the bar. Staff are very polite. Breakfast is the best ive seen in Ireland. Rooms are clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. The only drawback is if you are staying there for a concert or theatre night out it is costly in a taxi from there approx. 17euro each way. But it is worth it. I have stayed several times. Keep up the good work. Cleanliness and customer service is paramount.

Exceeded our expecation !! Highly recommended. Were there on bank holiday weekend with three small kids. Hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Family room was big enough and very clean. WIFI worked great. Breakfast spread was lovely. Loved the massage chairs in the Cloud9 room. Thinking of going back soon !! Would be nice if hotel has indoor pool but other than that, all positive !

I have reported favorably on this hotel very recently and have nothing to add.

Dc scored 4 / 5 on 22/04/2015

Excellent, modern hotel with spacious public areas and bedrooms and courteous and helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast + omelettes when the chef is on duty in the buffet area. Attractive restaurant with reasonable food. We have returned there on several occasions. Only issues on latest occasion were an unnecessary glass topped table in our bedroom which occupied too much space and uncomfortably foam-filled pillows.

This hotel is superb. Excellent value for money particularly when converting from Sterling to Euros at the current exchange rate. Very helpful staff throughout. Clean Clean Clean. Brilliant breakfast, brilliant steaks, brilliant location and brilliant room. I just cant praise it enough. We stayed for three nights in March 2015 and intend to return same time next year for longer. Booked through Lidl breaks which included breakfast for the same price as booking direct with the hotel and was better value than booking through booking.com etc.

Maria scored 3 / 5 on 06/03/2015

Got a great room rate on this hotel and the room was lovely but it was a disability access room and the bathroom was a wet room and after a shower the whole bathroom was flooded which meant that after my shower I could not enter the bathroom again to use it as the water stayed lodged - flooded around toilet and sink... but apart from that it was fine. Yet I would be happy to use again

Tom scored 3 / 5 on 21/02/2015

I stayed here with my husband recently. We went to a concert at the Marquee on the night - a quick hop on the bus (just a few yards from the hotel) and we were brought into the city centre. Cork is such a beautiful city and the Cork International Hotel is such a beautiful hotel. The staff could not have been nicer - so friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The bed was massive and very comfortable and the room was spacious and spotless! The only negative point I have is that it was a bit tricky getting into the car park of the hotel. In fairness I hadn't checked the website to get directions on how to get to the hotel - just thought that it was beside the airport, so shouldn't be too hard to find!! Turns out we parked in the wrong car park! Those signs at the roundabout at the entrance to the Business Park need to be more prominent. Also I was looking out for your logo, but missed the little yellow sign on the roundabout, because I was expecting to see the logo & colours that are on the website! I'll defiantly be back again!

we stayed for 2 nights and we could not ask for any better.the staff were brilliant and all local which is rare in some hotels nowadays but it is for the good.the location is a bit isolated but everything is there so you dont need to travel out.room was lovely and clean and food good and plentiful.but the staff were the icing on the cake,so friendly and helpful.

Eileen scored 5 / 5 on 07/05/2014

I would give this hotel a five star rating. It was absolutely beautiful everything was so well presented from the minute you stepped inside the door. The rooms were superb. If I had a negative comment it would be that the breakfast hot food wasn't hot enough and when I asked for a phone charger at the desk it was broken. However it is definitely a place I will visit again.

Margaret scored 4 / 5 on 25/04/2014

Spent just one night at the Cork International Airport Hotel in mid April. The public areas are very plush and welcoming, a fantastic purple and lilac colour scheme. Check in was very efficient and the receptionist provided all the information we needed for our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and presentation was wonderful. Service was very good and the waiters very attentive without being intrusive. The only thing I would have liked would be that the bedroom colour scheme could have been a bit more in line with the public areas. The brown, cream colour scheme was nice but a bit masculine and corporate looking; aside from this one personal quibble, the room was perfectly fine. We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone, which we have already done ! Thank you Cork International Airport Hotel.

Fantastic stay at the Cork International ... great value , very comfortable rooms , very nice lobby and reception area. Would definitely recommend the New Yorker Bar for an evening meal and great kids menu also. Fantastic selection for breakfast would definitely stay again when travelling or just for leisure.

Fiona scored 5 / 5 on 04/01/2014

We often stay in cork as we have family there but had never chosen this hotel before for a leisure stay as thought it would be just another "airport hotel" - boy were we wrong!! This is a fabulous family friendly hotel for a short break - whilst we had been put off by no swimming pool we needn't have worried as the cinema room with massage chairs and kids room kept our kids entertained for hours and the lack of swimming pool meant we had more time rather than having to take them swimming and half the day going!! The staff are exceptionally friendly to the extent that I commented on this when I was checking out. The room was so comfortable and the rate we got was so hard to beat - well done to everyone in this hotel for the hard work to ensure a really good experience - we will definitely be back! Highly recommend

Stayed for the first time after Christmas for 2 nights in a family room. It was definitely the most spacious family room we ever stayed in - 2 double beds and plenty of room for travel cot. Had bathroom and then separate shower room which was handy. Staff lovely. Breakfast really good. Would well recommend it and will hopefully get to stay there again. Also, very handy location to use as a base for Cork, on the link, near the city, very close to Kinsale etc.

have stayed in this hotel many times over the past few years and always looked forward to coming back but this time was a big let down we were given a disabled room which my wife was not too happy about and when we turned back the beds the sheets were stained and some undesirable hairs in the middle of the bed plus around the toilet its a pity the standards of this lovely hotel has dropped a hotel we have recommended to so many friends over the years the staff in this hotel are great and very nice but i dont know if we would go back ? My Husband and I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights b&b, it was absolutely fabulous, with huge bright Reception area to greet you on arrival with very friendly staff. Breakfast excellent with a great choice and they even made the.most delicious waffles fresh. Bed and shower excellent. We eat on two nights in the Restaurant, food was good with one of the most efficient and fastest waitresses I ever saw called Noreen, she just flew around the place and made a very difficult job look so easy, The small cinema, play area and books to read in the Reception area made this Hotel a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely stay here again, ( can't wait). The only complaint I have is the strong smell of scents from the Air Con in the Reception area, I would love to have spent more tiime browsing through the onderful books but because of allergies I had to make a quick exit. I was sorry I did not say it to the Receptionist whilst staying at this Hotel, which I would rate as one of the best Hotels we have stayed in Ireland. Well done to you all and continued success.

Spent a night recently in the Cork Intl Airport Hotel and found it to be terrific. The place has been revamped and newly decorated and with a new Reception Desk on the ground floor - it's really lovely. Had a drink in The New Yorker bar and it felt more welcoming. We didn't have food there - but the food being served to others looked great. It felt more like a restaurant/lounge rather than a place to have a quick bite to eat. The staff - of which there were many - were very attentive indeed. The bedrooms have always been good - so overall delighted with our choice. A very handy hotel to stay in as we come from West Cork and then very easy access to Douglas and Mahon Point. We will back again to visit. Carole Begley

A great selection of food and always plenty there. Fantastic hotel, decor amazing. Very friendly helpful staff, a lovely warm ambience about the place. We had a Family room which was large with two big beds and a small fridge provided. The room was spotless. There is a restaurant with a bar area within it where you can sit on high stools. There is no separate bar to provide basic bar food, however there is 24 hour room service, which we didn't use. There is no swimming pool, there is a gym.The is a great cinema room with amazing massage chairs, which shows free movies at 6 pm for kids and 9pm for adults. There is a small unsupervised playroom with a wii. There is free wifi throughout the hotel, no passwords or time- out issues, just change your Settings and it was perfect. We ate in the restaurant , it was nice but not outstanding, a main was on average €17. The breakfast was lovely, very tasty and a good choice. The chef was on hand to make pancakes and omelettes, etc.We sat in the aeroplane area, great novelty for the kids. I would definately stay here again when visiting Cork

I stayed here last week for 2 nights and I loved it! The room was very big and extremely clean. The shower was fantastic. The room had air conditioning which was very welcome on such a hot week. I had great sleeps here. It's a very quiet location. The breakfast was delicious. I also ordered room service late at night and it came very quickly. The massage chairs are worth checking out! Children would love the quirky airplane theme - there are proper airplane seats in the breakfast room. Personally I loved leafing through the cool books scattered around the lobby. The staff were most polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideally located because buses go frequently to and from Cork city. We got the last bus from the city at 00:05 which was a great service. I am already looking forward to staying here again on my next visit to Cork.

Fantastic hotel, clean large room with free wifi and on demand movies (but we didnt use them). Nice touches with colour changing led lights in the corridors and art like pieces of furniture around the place. Staff were truly great and very friendly (hats off to the training these guys received), We have 2 kids with us and they had a ball.... but no swimming pool. The breakfast was really good and the kids loved the airoplane seats, we loved the fact that the staff brought coloring books over when my son started bouncing around the place. We ate in the bar one night and while it was really nice, 2 kids meals and 2 adults @50 + Eur can be a little steep for a lot of people. It would be great if there was some sort of specials on. The cinema room with massage chairs was great and is open all day but the movies only play after 6pm. Kids club was a nice touch (not monitored) but had a few toys for younger kids. I'd recommend it to anyone, The best run hotel I've stayed in for years...and I've stayed in quite a few.

my mam and i were arriving into cork very late, my mam has had a knee replacement and getting herself and luggage to the hotel was a concern of mine, from the airport i phoned the hotel,a lovely man came down to collect us, carried the luggage and closed and opened the doors of the van for us. on arrival at the hotel, he very kindly arranged a wheelchair and carried our bags to our room. the male receptionist called me by my first name, that was very welcoming. the room was fabulous, wheelchair friendly bathroom. great bed, tv service. excellent breakfast, the female receptionist when checking out was friendly and helpful.this is the best service ive had from an irish hotel. well done, i will definitely consider here again.

Probably the best value hotel in Cork when purchased through Lidl breaks. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was some remnant smoke smell, so it that gets to you, might want to ask for a non-smoking room. Breakfast is good and fresh. Front desk and restaurant service is prompt and polite. With a car it's a short distance to the city center. No pool, but nice big bathtubs.

I was left so disappointment and would not stay again , did not know they had there own seprate car par . I had rung a few days previous and was told they had free parking however I used the long term car car to gain access to the hotel as there was no signs to say otherwise , ended up paying an extra 19 eurofor carking for both myself and my partner. For this i would not rate the hotel I ready made a complaint to the hotel but at the end of the day I am lying the loss of the money.

2bb + 2 dinner in Family room - Couple with three children: We booked a weekend away with our three boys (14, 8 and 2). We went for the B&B with dinner on each night package. I would definitely recommend this option over the 1 dinner option for this particular hotel. The varied menu and quality of the food means you won't be out of pocket by going for the dinner on each night option. Upon check in, we were told that my husband and I had a dinner allowance of €60 for each night (€30 each) and this amount would be deducted from our overall food bill. To our surprise, we found that it was more than enough for the 'O-Bar' menu which feels more like a restaurant than a bar. As we wanted to eat early with our two smallies, it suited our needs perfectly. The children's menu had lots of choices and was very reasonably priced. The only down side of this hotel is that it doesn't have a swimming pool but the quirky layout and uniqueness of the place, more than made up for it. Our young sons sat in airplane seats for breakfast and had one or two goes at the Wii that was hooked up to a gigantic screen in the lobby in the evening. They couldn't believe that there was a real car parked in the lobby! We checked out 'Chuckies' indoor play centre on one of the evenings as it was only a 10 min drive away and the boys loved it. We stayed in room 333 which was huge and had a separate shower room. We found all the staff extremely professional and friendly. This hotel knows how to do it right and we're looking forward to returning.

Very quirky hotel, in an industrial estate in grounds of Cork Airport. Family room on top floor with balcony was lovely but would worry if small children were around as the door to the balcony did not appear to lock. Staff generally were helpful, check in was efficient would recommend for overnight for flights not good location for weekend away. Generally I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is ideal for the Airport, Had a lovely stay with lidl breaks. Two course meal was fantastic. Breakfast also great. 3 minute walk to airport and girl on reception gave us the choice of the Shuttle Bus which we declined . Staff very friendly.

Review by JC Dublin Just spent a surprisingly pleasant stay at Cork Intl Airport Hotel. Great value for money and perfect for visiting Cork city or travelling through the airport (the terminal is literally steps away from the hotel's back door). They also have a courtesy bus. Rooms are spacious, spotless and quiet - comfy beds too. We didn't have lunch or dinner in the hotel, but breakfast got the thumbs up. The great thing for us was the quirky decor. Every corner we turned we came across something unexpected: aircraft memorabilia in the lobbies and restaurants; retro radios and furniture in the bedroom corridors and some of the most unusual lighting I've ever seen. The bathrooms in the lobby provided a great talking point throughout our stay. Don't miss them if you stay here - they take kitch to a new level. The only hiccup was the difficulty in finding the hotel. A sign on the left-hand side of the approach road at the roundabout would have helped. Will definitely be back.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Cork international hotel. The staff could not do enough for you and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced the bedroom was beautifully decorated and spotless. The breakfast was the best i have had in any hotel for a long time everything you could possibly want from juice cereal yogurt cooked food cold meat toast brown bread and pastries.I would defenately come here again and recommend it to friends and family. The only down side i could find is that there is not enough sign posts to say where it is we went into the airport as we did not see any sign and had to pay 6euro fifty to get out of the car park although we was only there 5 minswhen the hotel told us where the car park was

Excellent food in bar and service was top class. Chef was very accommodating to particular dietary needs and staff were very generous with their time and advice. Rooms are very spacious and as comfortable as it gets. Good variety on offer for breakfast with labels on extensive range of juices (absent in most other hotels!) but most of food was lukewarm rather than hot on this occasion which was disappointing. Would not however deter me from returning again or recommending to a friend. Overall, was very impressed with stay. Staff are very well trained. The fact that it is located at the airport should not deter anybody from staying here for a 'get away from it all weekend'. Top class hotel. For a hotel closer to the city... The River Lee hotel and its restaurant The Weir would be the best choice.

Stayed at Cork International Airport hotel for two nights, end of October. I would highly recommend it to my family and friends. The reason for the stay was a birthday party being held there, a great night was had by all. All staff at this hotel were excellent and so helpful in every way, nothing was to much trouble for them. The theme or decor in this hotel has an airport aircraft design, which went down a treat with all the children that were there. Great hotel to stay in if flying in or out of the country, airport just minutes away, curtesy coach available. The rooms are very spacious and beds very comfy. If you are looking for a hotel that is different try this one you wont be disappointed. The bathrooms are something else, also dont leave without paying a visit to the pullman lounge. This hotel is just a taxi ride into cork city. Buffet style breakfast something to suit all. Great valu excellent restaurant. Thanks to hotel staff and management, for a wonderful stay. I would rate this hotel as more than five star. Regards Janet

Clean and comfortable hotel. The service was good, but not great. They made a mistake with our bill and were cooly efficient about resolving it, but they weren't apologetic or especially pleasant when they found out they, and not I, had made the mistake. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good. The lobby was quirky and fun. Everything was very clean.

This hotel was an excellent choice for us. It was very good value and the rooms were just beautiful. The bar was very busy for food but getting food was no problem and the food and service in the bar was to a very high standard. Staff were exremely pleasant and friendly, from the receptionist who met us on arrival right through all the departments we dealt with. They even kept our bicycles safe overnight as we had brought them with us. I would certainly recommend - very highly - this hotel and certainly will visit there again in the near future.

We had a fantastic time, we went down for Tastefest Cork and the hotel was fun, however the heat didnt adjust on our shower so it was too hot and when I called reception there was no answer and when I went down to reception there was no one there and that was in the middle of the day. Everyone was lovely except when we were checking out there were 2 people at the desk and the woman in front of me was checking out but the other person behind the desk didnt even look at me to acknowledge I was there. Then when she finally called me to the desk I reported the shower to her and said I tried calling she practically attacked me in front of my partner telling me how busy they were and that they weren't just sitting around doing nothing, no one answered the phone because they were "clearly busy" I was shocked and told her we wouldn't be back all because of her attitude and not because of the overall experience! No one wants to go on a holiday and be spoken to like that!

Excellent, very accessible location, close enough to the city for exploring but far enough away that an easy going stay in Cork is possible. Hotel is very funky with lots of quirks (toilets especially cool), rooms spacious and comfortable with everything you need including free wi-fi. Breakfast selection delicious and good flexibility with 7-11 serving times, food in bar excellent also. Overall very impressed with this hotel.
