Bottled water would have been nice in the room. The hotel is really lovely staff friendly and delicious food. The room was just perfect. Its am ideal place for a leisure trip. It was our third stay in the hotel.

Myself and my girlfriend had a very nice Deluxe Double room. The food and service was excellent. I will recommend the Clanard Court hotel to family and friends. The staff are really nice and especially Hazel on reception. It was a really great experience for Susan and I and we will return again in 2023.

The staff and the hotel was lovely. The food was lovely especially the breakfast. Rooms very nice and spacious. The only thing I can say is the Tv reception and stations were not the best which is a minor fault all in all a great hotel many thanks!!

I stayed at this hotel last year and both my friend and I really enjoyed the time, the food was very good and the staff are very friendly, however I must say that the food was not as good on this occasion. I am not sure if I would stay again if the standards started to slip.

We stayed at Clanard Court Hotel on the 20th of February last for one night break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and very cosy, fabulous tasty food and very friendly staff. This was our third stay here and we will be back again very soon. Well done Clanard Court Hotel on your high standards from very satisfied guests ????

Would highly recommend this hotel for a night away. It was very well decorated and comfortable. The staff were so helpful especially receptionist Laurie who looked after us. The food was also excellent and well presented. I couldn't fault our stay at all and will make a return visit.

This was our 3rd time to stay at the Clanard Court Hotel, from time of arrival to departure we were met with warm welcome, helpfulness and professionalism, it is a total pleasure to stay in this hotel, Lage rooms, really comfortable beds, beautiful crisp white bed linen fluffy towels slippers and bathrobe, everywhere is spotless, the food is amazing and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend the Clanard Court Hotel and hopefully we will visit again in the not to distant future. Thank you

Check in was done online with ease and booking for breakfast was the same, beautiful clean hotel, huge bedroom spotless . Dinner in the bar the first night was gorgeous, the fish was huge, breakfast was a huge let down. The bacon was raw, the eggs weren’t fully cooked, the sausages were sour, I asked for no beans but they appeared on the plate so she took it bk and gave me a clean plate with the same food which was covered in bean juice ???? and no tea was given even though I asked for it, dinner that night in the bistro was amazing the food was lovely but the star was the sticky toffee pudding, it was light, fluffy with a beautiful sauce and the ice cream was amazing, we had breakfast in bed the following morning that was another disaster, no salt in the shaker, the scrambled egg was so wet the plate was so soggy, no jams or marmalade, I was so disappointed as breakfast is normally the highlight of the trip. I would go bk again when covid is gone as I much prefer the buffet where you can pick and choose what you want and you can eat at your leisure not having to be rushed All in all it’s a fab hotel and the staff are so nice

Blown away by this hotel. Bedrooms so big, tastefully decorated and spotless. Bar and restaurant were amazing and the staff were lovely. I was so impressed that on the way home I booked for the October midterm with my children. I hope to try out the spa then. Well done to all the staff here.

My two friend,s and I had a most enjoyable stay in the Clanard Court Hotel this week.it was a girls night out.our tripple room was very nice.over all hotel was spotless/ beautiful food/staff extremly attentive and friendly.my husband and I have booked a night next week as we plan to visit the Shackleton Museum. Would definately recomend the Clanard Court Hotel.

Beautiful hotel withvery nice staff. Each member of staff was so pleasant and helpful. I do feel however that some of the food would not be to the standard I would expect. In particular some of the breakfast items served in the full Irish. In particular the bacon..this was below hotel or any standard in my opinion as was the black and white pudding and the hash brown were dripping in oil. Also the Chicken Caeser salad appeared yo have the same breakfast type bacon through it and the chicken appeared to have been cooked earlier in tgd day and then psn fried as required at dinner service, which meant it was tough and dry. Also I orderd a stir fry dish for dinner on our 3rd evening to share with my daughter as nrither of us were hungry enough for a dish each, however tgd dish was completely laced with chilies, not mentioned in dish description on the menu. I had to return the dish and could not be provided with an alternative anything as tgd chefs were finished.As a result neither J nir my daughter had dinner that eve. Overall hotel and staff were lovely, howevef the food lets the hotel down.

From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more accommodating friendly yet professional. Hotel is super clean and rooms are comfortable and spacious. The highlight of the stay was the food!! It was cooked to perfection and presented perfectly.

Clanard Court Hotel is a lovely hotel. They have organized and managed the recent restrictions really well, while the hotel was busy, we didn't feel uncomfortable at any stage. In particular the food is really good and all the floor staff where very efficient and accommodating. Both dinner and breakfast were served quickly and of great quality. Had an issue at check in, so as a first impression is wasn't great, delayed checking in for quite a while, but the receptionists were very pleasant and did whatever they could. Not a huge amount to do in the surrounding areas, but nice and relaxing break none the less, would visit again!

Had a fabulous family break here, rooms were spotless, cleaned everyday. Breakfast was exceptional quick friendly service which was great as we had a baby with us. Loads to do for the kids locally, pool was a great bonus lovely staff there too. Reception staff were so helpful and friendly, anyone staying here with kids the kildare farm foods is a great day out and it's free plus we got a voucher from the hotel for half price mini golf at the farm for the kids. Also in athy itself the people's park is great for kids hours of fun for free.

Spent 3 nights with the family in the Clanard Court Hotel in July 2020. The hotel was only just open after lockdown but felt very safe as they had great procedures to deal with the pandemic, very clean, loads of hand sanitizer at regular points, social distancing etc The staff couldn't have looked after us better, very friendly and went out of there way to help and recommend activities. Food was top quality and reasonably priced. I stayed in a standard family room but was above standard. 2x large double beds and a big room, very clean and decorated nicely. I would highly recommend this hotel, and will stay again!

Pefect Hotel for getaway break. Also a great Wedding Venue My daughter got married here February 2020. Service was 2nd to none. Staff are very professional and friendly at same time. Always on top of what's happening about the hotel. Spotless clean and extra measures during covid 19 didnt go unnoticed. A very relaxing hotel The animal s on the grounds are a lovely touch . Food is excellent with always great variety on their menus. We stay here every year and sometimes twice yearly, for all the above reasons .We highly recommend the Clanard hotel . I love this hotel, it was booked for myself and my girlfriends birthday. When we arrived, the receptionist who checked us in told us we could collect our second dinner voucher in the morning... I was confused as I thought we only had dinner free for one night. I rang down to reception to double check this and was told we had dinner free both nights. We went down to the restaurant and said we would just order a plain pizza and save the 3 courses for the following night. The staff were lovely but unfortunately the pizza was bland and not fresh, not to worry as we still had tomorrow night to look forward to. However when we were seated the following evening we were informed we had used our voucher. It was very embarrassing and had we been given the option we would have went for 3 courses the following night. I think because it was the receptionists fault it should have been complimentary but we ended up paying.

We stayed here one night mid week, beautiful hotel. We arrived late but could still get food in bar up until 9.30. The pizza was amazing!! Nice comfortable rooms and lovely staff. My kids would have loved a pool, but other than that had no complaints, we would definitely be back.

We stayed overnight on Mothers day although hotel was very very busy we were looked after straight away booking in was quick and easy. Rooms were nice and spacious as there were three of us. We had a lovely dinner and a couple of drinks and a great time was had by all of us we would happily return to this hotel.

My Mum, sister and I really enjoyed our one night stay here at the Clanard Court. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had a treatment in the Revive treatment area on the second day. This area is small, with two armchairs and two footrests in the relaxation area. It is very nice, though, and Emma, the therapist, was very professional and friendly. We took a trip to Kildare village, which was about 20 minutes away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel, Great, big, comfortable, clean rooms, excellent food & very good staff, treat yourself to a two night stay (1 night is not enough) & you will not regret it - we have stayed here three times over a 5 year time span & the same standards applied every time, so they are consistently good at what they do - we can't wait to get back to our little haven from the Madding Crowds!!

I could not find fault with this hotel, from the moment we arrived we we were made to feel very welcome. the rooms are lovely and spacious and the food was fabulous. The bar was very relaxed and we were made to feel very comfortable and relaxed from start to finish, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed in the Clanard Court on Friday 2nd June as I was celebrating a special occasion with my sister. As always we had a wonderful visit. The hotel is so relaxing, welcoming, warm and friendly staff in attendance throughout our stay. The food was fabulous I had the Seabass and Salmon dish which I will be back for once again and compliments to the chef. My sister is vegetarian and the chef never disappoints. I can only highly recommend the Clanard Court and I look forward to my next visit.

We were delighted with our room which was very big and spacious, and very clean with all the accessories that we needed. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and attentive both at check-in time and during our dining experience at dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the following morning. The food in the hotel was very good, and my sister commented that her fish dish (for dinner) was excellent, and she was very pleased with the quality of the meal. Looking forward to our return visit soon, and we would recommend the Clanard hotel to friends.

Stayed in the Clanard Court hotel as we were visiting the Kildare Village for a shopping weekend. We got a great deal and would recommend this as a base as it is only a 20 min drive to Kildare Village. We received a warm welcome and were very happy with our rooms. They were spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. We ate in the bar which was quite busy and the food was very good and reasonable. The service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely stay agin.

Staff, dinner and breakfast was lovely, very good value. However Lidl website v misleading and assumed there was a leisure centre with pool on-site. Its a community pool that the hotel gives passes for. Had booked thinking there was a leisure centre so disappointed with the marketing and advertising.

Five of us booked into the Clanard Court on the 20th November for two nights. I have to say that we could not fault the hotel in any way. The treatments in the spa are were excellent, the food in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good. The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. My sister and her sister in law had to leave early as their father in law died suddenly and the receptionist was very helpful and considerate when paying the bill. They did not charge for the night they could not stay and we really appreciated this. For this reason we will return to the hotel early next year. It is about 25 minutes drive to Newbridge and 15 mins to Kildare Village, so very convenient.

A group of us stayed in the Clanard Court Hotel recently and we had a lovely stay. Reception was lovely, food was very good and they had the comfiest beds ever! The only downside was that the leisure facilities were across town so we didn't end up using them. But overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend the Clanard Court Hotel if you need a quiet break away.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet, peaceful location. The room was large, pleasant and comfortable. The shower was great! Everyone was kind and helpful. The food was good (you must try the sweet potato chips, amazing!). We had a very good time.

Went to Tayto Park in July with my wife and three kids in July. (It is 1 hour from Tayto Park) Stayed two nights in the hotel with bed breakfast and an evening meal included. I found it excellent value and I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Food is good. Wifi is fast. Staff are lovely. Really can't fault it. Would stay again.

I stayed in the Clanard Court Hotel over night with my husband and two teenage boys. We stayed in interconnecting rooms. The rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were a good size with great showers. We had dinner in the restaurant were there was a good selection of good quality food. Breakfast was cooked to order and again a good selection was available. WIFI was excellent throughout the hotel which is of important consideration if travelling with teenagers. But the best thing about the Clanard Court is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and very efficient.

Stayed here on 10th June for one night. A lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The room was lovely only one niggle we only had two channels BBC1 and BBC2. The food was fab and I must mention the staff, from reception to restaurant and bar were extremely friendly. We would definitely come back. A lovely experience.

This hotel is a little gem. The location is good, services good, food good and the staff are also good. Made to feel welcome, with friendly staff. Dining was a pleasure. We had two members of my party who where not partilculary hungry for a full dinner. So asked for an extra plate to split a main course. The waitress offered to have the dish plated up in the kitchen and it was presented as two servings. Excellent touch.

Stayed for nights, 24th and 25th March. 2 B and B + 1 dinner. Rooms was excellent, warm, bright, clean and very quite. (Mark 9/10) Staff very friendly and helpful. (Mark 9/10) We had two course dinner, it was of high quality (9/10) Breakfast was disappointing. Food not of very high standard, e.g. bacon, sausages, pudding. White bread was bland and cheap. Very limited choice from the buffet. (Mark 4/10)

We were delighted we our stay at the Canard Court Hotel. We stayed on a Wednesday and Thursday night and really enjoyed the traditional band in the bar on Wednesday night (no loud speakers!!), the staff were welcoming and very helpful and the hotel itself was spotless and very comfortable. A pity the same could not be said for Athy.

Stayed here for a two night break on Sat/Sun 3rd and 4th May. Lovely staff and good food. My only gripe is having to travel to get to the swimming pool. Makes going more than once awkward - and with all the rain we had we would have spent most of our time there if it had been on site!

Great location, we were going to Punchestown and very convenient for course. The service was friendly and efficient. The evening meal was very tasty but the breakfast was just a little below standard. The lack of bottle drinking water in the bedroom was surprising and dissappointing but overall I would be happy to stay in the hotel again as it was excellent value for money. The attention seeking sheep with the Llamas I'm sure would be very amusing for children.

I stayed at the Clanard Court Hotel recently with my two small children and I have only great things to say about this hotel. We were given I very spacious family room that was both modern and very clean. We received a lovely welcome from the reception staff who could not be more helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant on one evening and breakfast the following morning. It was very high quality food and again the staff were lovely I never felt at any time that the children were not welcome in fact the staff chatted to them both. The hotel is in a great location to visit Kildare village and the Japanese gardens. I would highly recommend this destination and will use this Hotel again.

We had a lovely stay in the Clanard court hotel. The room was lovely, large and comfortable. we ate in the bar the food was lovely. Good variety on the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a lovely stay and we will return to this oasis in Kildare. I recommend this hotel.

Stayed at Hotel over Easter (2 adults & 2 Children). Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Family room was large, spacious and clean. Ate dinner in Restaurant on first night, food was lovely, but room was a bit cold. Bar staff friendly. After a long second day in the Wicklow Mountains, ate in the Bar on second night – food here was excellent, and considering the high quality, is a better option than the restaurant. Before we booked through Irish Rail, (we were looking for a hotel with a pool), I had checked the hotel’s own web site (http://www.clanardcourt.ie/gallery.html) , and the gallery section clearly shows a very large swimming pool, but when we arrived, it transpired that the pool was in a local leisure complex on the other side of the town. This makes it more of a hassle getting the kids there and back. It is also misleading of the hotel to put up pictures of a pool, without clearly marking them as ‘off-site’. Note for Irish Rail: I believe you should take this issue up with the hotel, in order to avoid having other Irish Rail Hotel customers with the same complaint.

We had a lovely time over the Easter break. The room was very big and clean. The staff could not have been any nicer and more helpful!! We decided to have treatments in the revive treatment room and it was fantastic, Emma was lovely and put us very at ease. I will say that we preferred the food in the bar to the restaurant, but that's just a personal opinion. All in all a great stay... Thank you

Great experience at the Clannard hotel. Fantastic atmosphere generally throughout this little hidden gem. Staff very friendly. Outstanding quality of food in the restaurant. Bedroom most spacious and exceptionally clean. Would recommend highly to anyone travelling to this part of the country. Would have no problem booking this venue again.

we were extremely impressed with clanard court hotel decor .the bar food and breakfast were gorgeous .staff very pleasannt .cleanliness was excellant .the only disadvantage is the leisure center was in the town but it is only a mile away if you really wanted to use it . it is a very realaxing hotel and would definately recommend it . we definitely got more than value for money... thanks to lidl and thank you to clanard court hotel ...

Very enjoyable stay with exceptionally welcoming staff from first encounter at Reception to waiting staff in bar. Restaurant was fully booked but we had nice meal at bar which was very busy.We would fully recommend this hotel to enjoy a break from a long journey either going north or travelling south.

The hotel is well situated, about 25 minutes from Naas, with great access on a brand new road from the N9 motorway. The hotel itself is quite modern, with very comfortable rooms. We got some bar food and drinks, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar food was good, as was the breakfast, which is included in the room rate. €3 per person would give you breakfast in bed if you wanted. There is a strange and wonderful collection of sheep, goats and llamas on a grassy bank in front of the hotel, which is a novelty. The only drawback to the hotel would be the lack of a leisure complex, but the rate, and the comfort more than makes up for this. I'd definitely go back here again.

I stayed in the Clanard with my sisters and mother. Our stay was excellent. The rooms are big and spotless with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The food in this hotel is amazing, we asked to have our dinner on the patio, but were told it would ruin our dining experience, this was very true as the two course dinner was of an extremely high standard second only to top class restaurants holding michelin stars. Would absolutely recommend the Clanard court hotel.

we had a lovely stay in this nice hotel over the Easter break.....staff were very kind and friendly, food was excellent and room was very spacious if a bit on the noisy side as it was next to one of the corridor doors which were opening and closing a lot. Location is excellent and as we use workout a lot having the use of the K Leisure gym and swimming pool in the town was great. All in all a great experience and we plan to go back again at a future date.

My husband and I stayed here over Easter. I would not recommend this hotel if you are after a romantic quiet getaway. It was full of noisy children running up and down corridors all hours at night. If you are a family looking for a break then this is the place for you, however. Also the fact the lesiure facility was off site was really off putting and for this reason I would not come back here as the thought of driving for a swim/ sauna is not my idea of relaxation and to include this on the website as a part of the service offered by the hotel was very misleading as one could nearly assume that it is located in the hotel itself. The food in the bar was gorgeous, could'nt recommend the beef option highly enough!! The room we stayed in was comfortable with a lovely strong power shower, beds were so comfortable and clean and staff were so friendly.

Had a very pleasant stay, we are a family of 5 with 3 younger children and the family rooms were a nice size. Some hotels have family rooms that are really to small to be comfortable, they had dvd tv's in the rooms with a list of dvd's available for the kids (or adults). Good value and nice/interesting dinner menu. Staff were helpful, hotel is nice and quiet, would recommend.

I am just back from a two night stay at the Clanard Court Hotel in Kildare. It was a nice hotel, very clean n the staff were so friendly n nice. I missed having a pool and gym on site. My biggest gripe however was that our room was situated at the back of the hotel n there was a noisy heater that turned on and off throughout the night, it was so loud I couldn't sleep n the rooms were very hot but I couldn't open a window cause of the noise. Would recommend this hotel if they sorted out the noisy heater! Great value though from LIDL and the dinner and menu was fabulous!

We stayed for one night in the Clanard Court Hotel Athy. The Hotel and room were lovely. We decided to have bar food which was fine. It took us three attempts to get served a drink in the bar eventhough it was not extremely busy. Unfortunately we were not aware until we arrived that there was a concert on in the hotel that night so there was a lot of noise as people were going to their rooms up until 5am ! Breakfast the following morning was the normal buffet style. We would go back another time but would check there were no concerts/functions on when we did.
