Excellent, would book there again, shame about the weather, beautiful place, very friendly staff & spotless, food lovely 10/10
Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel itself is comfortable and well managed. There was a few problems like no soya milk the first morning but once we asked for it we got it the other mornings. Also we had a problem with the evening meal but we weren't charged for the mistake. We found it too quiet and the reason we gave it 4 stars is because its beside a very busy street and we couldn't sleep. If we closed the window it was too warm. If we were to stay again we would request a room that's not in the front.

Great value LIDL Break. Newport is a great location if you are touring the west coast and Mayo and the Hotel Newport is The place to stay. Recommended.
Overall we had a great stay in the hotel. The lounge, bar and rooms were all very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was varied, delicious and very reasonable. I had the nicest meal I had in a long time. One complaint I would have is that the bar stopped serving food at 7pm we just about made it but we had to rush on arrival, I think this should be more clearly highlighted. Newport was a very nice town but the nightlife was very quiet. As we were hiking all day that suited us and if it didn't westport is only %u20AC15 away in a taxi. As regards value for money I was very impressed with the Lidl breaks offers. What we paid for a night in a lovely hotel, with great dinner and breakfast was cheaper then the bed alone in many hotels. Thanks to Hotel Newport and Lidl!
Stayed the October bank holiday, 2adults, 2 kids. The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location (Croagh Patrick & Achill on either day) Fantastic value and something we'll be repeating.
4 stars We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great dinner and nights entertainment. Rooms are a great size and clean. Breakfast was very good. Great location for touring Mayo. Would stay there again.

We arrived on Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised. Nice location and very friendly atmosphere. We travelled to Achill on Sunday and will def be back. It is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland. 5 Stars!! Lidl Breaks are a great incentive to get away from it all for a few days.
We were happy with the hotel, the accomodation was comfortable and clean and the food was very nice, we would definately stay there again.
Yes had a lovely time at the hotel Newport. My wife and I stay in hotels a lot for two or three night stays. We believe Staff make the hotel and that was the way at hotel Newport. We had an early evening meal there and was brill. We will be back sometime. Thanks from Mary and Liam Daly.
