Very unfortunate that the kids club was closed as it was the weekend and my kids were so disappointed. I booked it for that reason. The sound in the cinema room was so bad we had to leave as we couldn't hear parts of the movie. Food in restaurant beside reception was disgraceful, we eat in there everytime we go but this time was by far the worst we have ever received. Steak full of grizzle, dessert advertised as warm crumble came out practically frozen. I waited 15 minutes for milk for the tea. My kids did love the pool. The gym facilities were exactly what I needed, the staff were very kind especially the cleaning staff who left our room in lovely order on the second day. The kids loved the go carts and the boys running them were lovely. Its just such a pity that other areas let this place down. I would still recommend the hotel. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had an absolute ball. The only thing that was bad was the food in the restaurant. The one at reception. We ordered the children food while my husband and I were having a glass of wine (before our meal) their food came out 2 minutes after it was ordered and the goujons were rock hard. We felt we were being rushed out of the restaurant. We wound up not ordering food as theirs was clearly not fresh. The house wine was clearly gone off. Smelt and tasted disgusting. Other than that my children had a ball. Breakfast was so good. Play area was great. Reception staff were lovely. Id highly recommend the hotel. Its our go to place with our 2 young children. :)

Beautiful hotel, room and great choice fir breakfast. Spacious spotless room with excellent choice of channels. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great facilities fir kids. Lovely pool. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was good only I thought the breakfast was a bit off. Just one suggestion I think the person that takes you to your table should take the order for tea/coffee an toast. On both days we had nearly our breakfast eaten before we finally got ours. That's the only suggestion I have.

When we arrived we were greated with a big warm welcoming smile and very helpful,we then went to our room,which i found very dusty,headbord,around corners of room and radiator in bathroom,went to bar for food,got something in my drink,plus a man returned a glass of mywadi as glass had a crack on side and the barman put the mywadi into another glass instead of throwing it out and giving a fresh 1.we then were asked to move into tracce bar were it was cold and the barman was not very chatty and took a long time serving people.l also found this bar very dirty,webbs on lampsheds,breakfast next morning staff were very unorganized,we had to ask for t and coffee,but was told someone will take our order,next morning was much better,i got a young chap called Evan he came to me took my oder for t and toast and later took my empty plates and asked if i needed a refill,or anything else he could do for me.i found the hotel very good for children but not much on for adults who have no children.all the flims on cinema were for the children.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful big bedroom. Lovely swimming pool. Loved the fact that they provided plastic bags for wet swimming togs and foot shoes. Will be back ????

The Amber Springs is a beautiful Hotel. Bedrooms were clean & spacious. All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was to much to ask. I am coeliac and they had a good choice/knowledge of gulten free food for breakfast The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station & the town. Plenty of pubs/shops & restaurants in Gorey although at this time of year they only have entertainment at weekends (same as hotel) We all enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back again.

Best family hotel we have stayed in. We booked it for a family occasion (communion). Family of 4, 2 Adult's and a 7 and 8 year old. Kids club, cinema, go karts, mini golf and so much more. Rebooked for a weekend stay before we left. Lovely staff and the food and choice of restaurants is Fabulous

Should Cleary state a hotel for families only. No quiet areas to escape children who run around unsupervised. Breakfast was unbelievably noisy with food thrown around the floor and piles of full plates stacked on tables waiting to be removed. While staff cons walked by with empty hands.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Amber Springs. Our 6 year old had a ball and was entertained all day long. The kids club started at 10.30 until 1.00pm and 6.30 until 9.00pm. There are also movies during the day and a soft play area. The swimming pool was spacious too with towels provided. We dined in the hotel both nights and had breakfast and really enjoyed the food. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Went for the Santa Train it was truly magical experience. This has to be the most family oriented hotel u have ever stayed in. Restaurant manager Thomas was so helpful with accommodating my mum who is very sick at present. Can’t thank all the young people working there enough for a wonderful time. The staff here are just amazing

When we arrived at reception we were welcomed by a lovely lady as it was our first visit. We got a room on the ground floor which was great. Had a fantastic meal in the bar that evening. The fish was delicious . Every staff member we had dealings with were so professional and helpful. The reception was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Outside in the garden was so relaxing. We are returning with 4 of our grandchildren for the train journey. Room was spacious and so comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too. Plenty to eat. Great variety. Even had pancakes. Their puddings were huge but tasted delicious. I could go on and on.. no negative thing to say at all. Can't wait to return.

From start to finish our trip to Amber springs was amazing. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, the staff are so professional and friendly and go above and beyond to help you. We had planned to go on a day trip to courtown but there was just so much to do in the hotel that we didn’t get to leave. Also, the hotel served the nicest buffet breakfast we’ve ever had.

Food not four star standard .Leisure centre needs up grading. Pool cold Jacuzzi cold jets not working.Needs to be managed better as in certain regulations. Not a four star experience.

I have stayed a few times,it's a beautiful hotel.Very disappointed with the service this time.Went to the lounge for food about 4.30 ordered a cocktail to start,none of them knew how to make it,the waiter told us to go to the terrace bar,we did and it wasn't open.In my opinion none of the staff are trained,a lot of them and nobody knew what to do.Very disappointed it was my husband's birthday ????

On both evenings ate in the Farina Italian restaurant and BBG Restaurant in the hotel both meals that myself and my wife ordered were very disappointing and also had to ask for our room to be cleaned at reception very very disappointed with our stay at this hotel.

Fabulous hotel, very nice professional staff, food in restaurants delicious, especially the hotel bar and grill. Very family friendly. Rooms are very spacious. Lots of activities for kids. Lovely clean leisure centre too.

Very enjoyable stay in Amber Springs. V comfortable bed and no noise in corridor after 11 pm. water readily available. Clean well serviced room. Good choice of food on menu. Excellent friendly and efficient staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
