The staff are very courteous. The food we ordered off the lunch menu was lovely but we both agreed, could have been a bigger portion. The grounds are lovely. The lift is a little odd but at least it works. I must pay more attention to check out time. This was 11am which feels too early. Why not just leave it until noon.

I'd highly recommend this hotel. The staff were so friendly especially the twin sisters mags and Josephine. We love Georgian hotels and this hotel has kept a lot of its features. The rooms were big and clean. We were told that all the bathrooms are being replaced in January. The food was amazing and portions were big. We had 14 people for dinner and a surprise birthday cake and the staff made sure it was brought out in time. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym was very clean and staff there very friendly. Thr walks were amazing and my grandchild loved the fairy doors that were scattered all along the trees .We had a really great time and would recommend this hotel

Beautiful hotel, needs a little refurbishment. Food not great but would not stop us from going back.

Fionuala A scored 4 / 5 on 01/11/2023

Lovely quaint hotel ideal for a quiet break away. The only thing that could be improved was the service at breakfast time. The young staff didn't seem to understand the basics of breakfast time, spoon for the cereal, marmalade for toast, orange juice ran out. Very easily fixed by having one person in charge. I would recommend this hotel and the food served was delicious.
