We stayed in the hotel on 01/01/2018 . We had a most enjoyable meal in the restaurant which was extremely good value for money as was the breakfast the following morning. The room was most comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helpfull. We will definitely stay there again whenever we are travelling by early or late ferry to the UK.

Enjoyed a few lovely days in October in Hotel Rosslare where rooms had a sea view, food was good and staff were excellent. There are some nice walks in the area and an easy 10mile drive into Wexford town for the Opera Festival.

Such a disappointment Hotel Rosslare proved to be.We stayed there on New Year's eve. We checked into room 108 and it smelled badly of damp/rot.The room was basic but clean. The restaurant stopped serving food at 7 30.There was a nice lobby area with a real fire but that was somewhat spoiled by an eyesore of three large grotty Mayonnaise containers that contained the coal.We complained about our room at check out and followed this by an email to management but this has been totally ignored. We will not be returning. Jim and Kay O Connor

We had a lovely time . Simply because of the location . Parts of the hotel could do with a face lift paint here and there. The staff are very laid back and could do with a bit of training. They could give their paying guests a little more attention. Simple things are overlooked like bulbs being checked in bedrooms before arrival of guests. They might need help from the Brennan Brothers

Very enjoyable stay. Bar food was really nice with good atmosphere. Rooms are basic but clean and the view is excellent - if you like watching the ferries come and go, I did. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately this hotel needs a lot of work. The decor is so dated and mismatched. We booked into a family room for the weekend, the family rooms are located over the bar and beer garden, we had a small child with us so we were in bed by 9.30 but the noise from the bar was terrible, there was a band playing, which were very good, but putting a family room over the bar???? The staff, when they could be located (never anyone on reception) were very friendly, but when I voiced my opinion regarding the noise I was told 'there are a lot of things about this hotel that I don't understand and I have been working here a very long time, there are always complaints' . I have worked in the hospitality business for almost 30 years and I would never have any of my staff of myself answer a complaint this way. I am sure that the staff have had enough...but total lack of customer service training. I would like to point out that although the room was terrible with dark brown carpet, pebble dashed walls and furniture that did not match and the most uncomfortable bed ever (springs sticking out) the room was spotless. A little time, effort and money would turn this hotel into a lovely homely stay away from home, it is an ideal location and would be a shame to see it close because of these small problems

I was very disappointed in the hotel bedroom. There was a musty smell in the room which was very unpleasant. The view was nice so I left the sliding door open most of the time to get reduce the smell. The side of the bath was dirty and was falling off. We had a nice meal in the bar but I would not return to this hotel again. The room did not have a clean feeling about it. Very disappointing.
