We had a family get together in the West grove Hotel. The room was big and spacious. The bar and restaurant menu was the same. I thought there would be a difference. The staff was very friendly.

I would have given the hotel 5/5 only the included dinner was disappointing Food was beautiful but mostly everything except for 2/3 starters and Main Meals had a supplement charged I believe if dinner is advertised as included as it should be And guests should have more to choose from included Everything else about our stay was very good

Large hotel, loads of seating areas and space but lacks character, maybe stripped back due to covid. Rooms spacious we stayed in family room 2A+ 2C, the beds ok, pillows were terrible thin and hard. Breakfast good covered everything you could want, we had a meal included in booking however the menu had only 4 options for people with meal included and all the rest required a supplement, menu completely over priced and food was poor, I had Thai chicken curry and it was like something from a jar, not tasty at all. My husband had chicken which there was a supplement for and it was ok. Would recommend hotel for location as walking distance to town, supervalu/cafe and few other shops in complex also, but not for over priced poor food. The pool and Gym were good also. Our Second night we walked into town and ate in Jones bar, lovely pub, excellent food, 2 menus, so something for everyone.

When I rang to book dinner the hotel couldn't find my booking from the third party I booked with. The receptionist assured me she would sort it out and get back to me, within minutes all was sorted. Staff in the hotel so friendly, attentive and helpful. Hotel was spotless and aheared to all covid regulations

The Westgrove never disappoints. We have stayed here 7 times and have booked our 8th for the mid term break. The service is always top class. I would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel

Had a brilliant break at this Hotel. The Hotel is very well geared to adhere to the Covid restrictions. We got plenty information before hand what to expect and what was on offer etc. Plenty to do for families.. Kids club. Swimming.. Killdare maize only 15.minutes away. Very spacious hotel. Shopping centre and plenty parking. Pleasant staff. Clean and hope they do very well with staycation Will be back.

Very cosy and comfortable room, impressed with the coffee maker in the room. Nice relaxed atmospheres. Not impressed with the bar area, tables and seating cramped, uninviting more like a coffee shop. The Italian restaurant was in name only. On the inclusive menu it had only one dish Pumpkin Ravioli not everyone's choice. We were going to upgrade to A la carte however it mirrored the inclusive except for few steaks. I was disappointed as we only booked the meal because it claimed to ITALIAN? the food we did chose was well presented and good, just loose the Italian theme unless choice is offered and it fresh not shop bought.... Leisure area great however the steam room needs a make over.

Birthday celebration for my husband and our family booked four rooms for last Saturday night - the hotel was perfect and has everything you could want with well furnished and equipped rooms that were so comfortable. The food was very good in the restaurant. I mentioned on booking it was my husbands birthday and there was a lovely surprise waiting for him in the room - it was a plate with little cakes and wishing him a happy birthday - lovely touch thank you so much. The staff are also lovely and check in and out were very quick. Six family members used the pool the next morning and enjoyed the experience. I would recommend this hotel and really look forward to booking it again.

Enjoyed two nights stay in hotel. Very clean and spacious room . Staff very courteous and helpful. Food and waiting staff in restaurant excellent . Would definitely recommend

good situation and services but the staff is not really smiling and anybody speaks French. If you got a problem, it is sometimes difficult to explain if you were not born in the country.

Lovely hotel. Booked a family room got a double bed, a single bed and a camp bed. Breakfast was very good.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed inclusive meal and good choice. Clane is a nice village and very close by.

This is one if the finest hotels in the land. Splendour in every corner. The suite we stayed in was exceptional, the food of a high standard and the staff most pleasant and helpful. I would recommend The Westgrove to anyone in search of a luxury stay at most reasonable tariffs. Linda in Waterford.

This is a very nice hotel. The beds are comfortable and the room was nicely furnished and equipped. There was a good selection of food for breakfast including lovely big croissants. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, allowing for a good night's sleep. I took one star away as the room was a little too warm. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience!

1 or 2 issues mainly food related, Restaurant was very busy in the evening so we ate in a seating area just off the bar, it was nice, quiet & very relaxed. Food on the other was a 2 out of 5. Burger was dripping in grease & platter of food was tasteless. At Breakfast i asked if it was possible to have just a fried egg white (as i am tolerant to the Yoke) response was 'Could do you an egg white omelette', which i found kind of rude & baffled me as to why one could be done but the other couldn't when, cooking time as well as effort is basically the same?! Bar this, our stay was really pleasant. Kids club was a god send & staff were particularly nice.

Good hotel, well located with good facilities. I booked a 2 night Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package on a Saturday for arrival on the next day (Sunday). This caused some confusion at check-in as it had been recorded as a 2 night B&B and 1 dinner only package. This seemed to be the result of my making the booking on the weekend when their reservations office is closed but was advised that I come back to them on Monday when a duty manager would be able to resolve the query. When I did return to reception on Monday, the situation was resolved to my satisfaction very quickly and courteously. The hotel was quite busy with a lot of families. Choice on set menu for package is limited enough but there is also an option to choose a-la-carte. Restaurant staff very pleasant but service quite slow on both nights for no obvious reason.

Lovely Family Break away in this hotel. The hotel is lovely and we found everything up to standard and very clean. Pool facilities were great with family changing room which was very useful. Staff in Bar and restaurant were very nice and friendly. Reception staff were also nice but were not very forthcoming with information such as breakfast time, local activities, checkout etc you had to keep going to them to ask for information whcih I think should have been giving to you on check-in. Also very little information in rooms about local activities or hotel itself. Rooms very spacious and nice. Overall we had a lovely stay and would return.

We recently stayed there for a week end break. It is a beautiful hotel, well run with lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. We had dinner there (Carvery ) which was very nice indeed good, good sized portions. In the evening we sampled one of the pizzas again was lovely. We had a 5 year old little girl with us and she went to the kidz club for 2 hours which she really enjoyed, the only thing I would suggest about the kidz club is to put a coded lock on the door of kidz club as the kids had easy access in and out which I was too happy about. Other than that we had a lovely stay there and would return again.

the double bed was tiny and the tv was really bad. dinner was great but breakfast was only okay. nothing special about the hotel at all, would not be rushing back.

Lovely hotel friendly staff,didn't eat in the hotel other then breakfast which was fine,rooms were a nice size and comfy a big plus in the room was a mini fridge which i found was great to have,the pool was fine i kids loved it,hotels location is good not from Naas and Dublin not too far either,great to have WiFi that actually works in the rooms,all in all we had a lovely few days

We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel and swimming pool was lovely. As noted on hotel review sheet - did not know they had gluten free options till I seen on breakfast menu on last day. I wish they as a sign up saying ask for Gluten free options or Gluten free options available. Location very good and easy to access

Lovely hotel for family nice pool, food good, play room, nearmaze and national stud. Nice park for kids swjngs etc 5 mins walk would return staff very nice and helpful.

Friendly staff when checking in and out. Room was big and clean Good blackout curtains. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice. We're vegetarian so can't rate the meat offerings but there was sufficient choice for us. We didn't visit the bar or eat in the hotel apart from breakfast so can't comment on those facilities. Leisure centre was just OK. A supermarket and a few small shops next door can be accessed from basement carpark and a few mins walk into Clane small town centre.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Unfortunately when we arrived to check in we were disappointed to find that the hotel only had a record of 1 room being booked, not the 3 we had booked and paid deposits on. Thankfully they were able to provide us we 3 rooms and we really enjoyed our stay after the stress of checking in.

Hi, we really enjoyed our stay lovely hotel. rooms were big and food was good. lovely Italian rest. on site and great for the kids. the only fault I can think of was we were staying on the first floor in 130 but there was a strong stale smell in the hall corridor which was quiet bad but other then that really enjoyed our stay and we will be back.
