I was very happy with our stay here. Hotel is located in a nice area,just ten minutes away from the lovely town of Kilarney. Hotel was lovely and comfortable, bar there for your meal and drinks, staff are very friendly as well in bar and hotel which makes a huge difference for you when you are staying in a hotel. Plus they have a pool as well which was great too. Food very tasty. Really enjoyed our stay here, keep up the good work Parkavon hotel, great value for money thanks.

Just back from.a lovely 3 day break in this hotel. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the lovely reception staff. Very nice to deal with it lovely staff in the dining room..asked for poached eggs and was not a problem. We used the leisure center and it was lovely. We dined in the bar and I had there burger absolutely delicious. Bar man was so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The room was ready when we arrived and was lovely and warm and inviting. Asked for more towels again it was no problem Were there when we arrived back from breakfast rooms were serviced every day.would definitely return to this hotel for another break.

Breakfast was tasty. Table service on Monday morning which was an extra bonus as I love table service Lovely friendly staff delicious bar food. Enjoyed the leisure centre it was very quiet there. I would stay again.

Booked with lidl breaks, hotel charged €50 for kids breakfasts. Very limited breakfast choices and not worth the additional money. Pool very small and slot times very short :40 mins. Hotel needs updating. Bar staff very friendly and efficient, ate there as a family.

At check in the gentleman was very short with me, not sure why. Nothing was explained which I thought was strange and even stranger when I went back down with a query the same gentleman was explaining everything to the next guests! Not the most pleasant start to our stay. Every other member of staff was so nice in particular the staff in the restaurant they were amazing with the kids

perfect little break away. hotel spotless, room very big(2 double beds). swimming pool times were spot on. Bar food was very good. breakfast the following morning was 10 out 10, outstanding. great staff, well presented breakfast.

We were blown away by the standard and quality of this hotel for a 3 star. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit from start to finish. Such a fabulous clean beautiful hotel with fantastic, friendly, helpful staff and the nicest food we have ever had in any hotel. The kids had a ball and loved the swimming pool. Our room was outstanding, so spacious, spotless and with a fabulous bathroom. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and have already booked to stay again. Thank you.

Had a great stay here for 3 nights, perfect location to go sight seeing and to walk into town. Rooms are a little bit older, but it's a very well kept hotel and spotlessly clean. Bar was really friendly and food was good, the burger in particular was very nice with locally sourced produce. Will visit again when I get a chance.

Lovely location. Staff were so nice and helpful and lady at reception provided us with a fridge for bottles for our baby withing minutes if arrival. Cleaning staff always had a smile on there face. Breakfast was fab as were the waiting staff there. Cant ever fault anytime we have stayed here and looking forward to staying there again in November.

I had a very nice stay in The Park Avon. The staff from receptionist,bar,breakfast crew and housekeeping were very friendly and accomodating. The room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom a little dated but spotless and shower was good. COVID safety measures was very much in evidence and all good. Bar facilities was good. Sky sports available. Music on a Saturday night which was good. Food served in the bar. I had fish and chips which was nice. The only thing I might suggest is a little more variety on Bar menu. So all in all I would stay again.

great weekend was had by all. hotel is spotless and safe. pool is run especially good, no overlapping. night time very quiet for a restful nights sleep. Would highly recommend for value break here.

We had a lovely stay in Killarney and Parkavon is so close to many things. We walked to the Killarney house and Gardenswhoch joined the Killarent National Park. Your only a 15 minute drive to the Gap of Dunloe. The rooms were good and clean. There was some night time disturbances with an argument in the hallway with other residents and one tried accessing our room. This wasnt the hotels fault. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Staff all round were welcoming. Only downfall was 11am check out if it was 12pm it would lead to more ease in the morning. I'd definitely stay again.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Bedrooms & en suite very spacious. Very clean hotel. Staff were outstanding. We would especially like to thank our chinese breakfast waitress ( sorry I cannot remember her name). She was top class and so efficient with remembering our order. Housekeeping staff were also lovely. A very nice hotel to stay at and in a great location.

We were very happy with the first two nights the hotel was clean and our room was fine for a three star hotel. However the gym was a sorry sight and needs to get the machines back working. Then the Friday night a 'hen party' arrived and that changed everything they did what they liked early evening before hitting the town and then during the night it was chaos shouting, running up and down corridors and ringing our phone. Our room was close to the group so we got no sleep and I did report it to reception next morning. They listened and said no other complaints, come on!!!. Lovely for a family early week but think before you book Friday or Saturday nights. I will anyway.

Really enjoyed my stay. Bit noisy from shouting in the side cap park during the night and this needs to be policed. Breakfast service the best I have experienced from many hotels to date, friendly and efficient, a real credit. I drive an EV so will deduct a point for not having charging facilities. All other hotels on our schedule were chosen for having destination charging.

Perfect for a short break away. Helpful and friendly staff and our room was a good size and comfortable. The pool is small but very well organised for these times - we were able to prebook pool times for our use only. Hotel is well situated with a 10 minutes walk into town and easy access to the National Park.

Really loved the hotel bar very nice food especially the margarita pizza ???? the pool is really nice too if a little small. Some days the water was colder than others and the showers by the pool only had cold water. The beds were very firm and not the comfiest but overall I really enjoyed my stay! Good breakfast food too and friendly staff.

To be honest i was very disappointed ive stayed here many off times before but the hotel has gone down big time, the room was only 1 star a hostel would be cleaner. Breakfast wasn't fit for a dog from start to finish i would not recommend this hotel. Front desk staff also very rude one in particular a blonde lady in her late 50 early 60 so so rude. If i got a free night here i still wouldn't stay

Stayed here for two nights stay with my mum and 2 kids,we nearly froze with the cold the first night i complained the next day by the time someone came to fix the heating that evening it could nt be fixed till d next day,they did want to move us on d second nite but there was no point as we were leaving the next morning. No music, food was nice had to wait 20 mins the final morning to order breakfast.

Just back from a great stay at the Parkavon,stayed for 5 nights and were looked after by the excellent staff throughout the hotel ,breakfast was served by courteous staff with a good choice,bar food was also good again served by good staff who can pull a good pint.The bedroom was large and comfortable ,well kept and clean.Nice swim pool to unwind after a day touring.

100 euro for the two of us including breakfast was great vale . 10 minute walk into town , pool if required, decent grub in bar and hotel /rooms were clean . Cant go wrong . Book it .

Really enjoyed our stay at the killarney inn. Lovely hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. A short stroll 2 town centre. Food in the bar was nice. The downside 2 this hotel is the pool, altho its a lovely size 4 kids, its a bit run down. Just needs a basic refreshment. There was an issue with our bookin which didnt go thru on their system so we had 2 wait little while 2 get sorted, they gave us a upgrade to a 2bed suite, as an apology. Overall we would stay again & would reccomend 2 family & friends.

Our first time staying at Holiday Inn Killarney. We have however had lunch in the bar several times over the years. The food and services were as good as ever..we had grandchildren staying with us, the room we were given was on the ground floor, and perfect for us. We will be staying again.

Had stayed here in 2015 and found on return that the decor had become a little dated, however the staff were as good as ever as was the food. Best feature was the bar both for food and service. The leisure centre was adequate but again let down by minor cosmetic faults ( mainly around jacuzzi area) Overall a pleasant stay.

Pleasantly surprised by this Family Friendly Hotel. First impressions were great, large, clean spacious lobby/reception area. Friendly check in member. Spacious, bright room family room with large bathroom. Delicious food in the restaurant. Good value for money. Only negatives were, the parking spaces are small, there weren't sufficient towels in the family room for a family of 4 and I found the waitress a bit rude and un-attentive in the restaurant on the Saturday evening for dinner... we were left to fend for ourselves whilst she chatting away to the maître d for most of our time there. The waiting staff at breakfast made up for this thou! The pool is small but adequate for a hotel of it's size. Overall, you get great value for money at this hotel and we would definitely return :D

Excellent place to stay. Nice room but was noisy due to the generators placed outside the room which was annoying in night. Staff were friendly and the breakfast served was on par. Has a leisure club with a good,but small pool. Also had Sauna and Steam which are handy. Plenty of free car parking spaces available. Overall a good place to stay at . Best Regards, Rameshkumar

Enjoyed our stay, allowed check in at 1 as room was available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect, had 2 double beds so a fine size room with all facilities. Lovely gesture having a list of items that were available complimentary if you forgot them e.g. toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream etc. Had dinner in bar which was good. we booked two rooms for weekend of 30th september. we had two lovely clean spacious rooms. the staff were always friendly and helpful. we had a 7 month baby with us and were obliged with free food . the staff had to replace all the bed linens the baby got sick at 9pm on the saturday night and it was no trouble to them. the breakfast was of a very high standard. even though the bar area was dated it was clean. entertainment provided on both nights. We would have no trouble staying there again as it was great value. We were however disappointed with wifi. signal very weak. Mary.

I booked this Hotel for myself and partner and I also then booked it for my partners parents, her sister and my family through Lidl breaks. I rang the hotel to change a double room to a family room and they reassured me that everything was now booked correctly. We arrived to find one family room was cancelled. The gentleman that was on reception was first trying to tell me that we cancelled this until another woman said she would look into it, 20 mins later they confirmed they had another room( Lucky enough the hotel wasn't booked out) The hotel itself was really nice but little things like this would turn you off choosing the same place to stay again. Thank you.

Very disappointed with our stay here, firstly the hotel did not have our booking, so they could only give us a room with one bed and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. The man on reception said that we would get a discount in the morning when checking out for our troubles. The room did not seem very clean, the carpets were all stained and the dresser had sticky stuff on it. When we were checking out the next morning I reminded the receptionist about the issues with our booking and also the room. She was so rude in her reply, that the room I was given was fine and that was what I booked and that I had to pay in full and also had to pay extra for the child's breakfast, when I informed her that he was ill and did not have breakfast, she said that was nothing to do with her and I had to pay.... Lucky for us we only had booked one night here.... Very disappointing

stayed on an overnight here and it was very good. Room spacious, clean and quiet. Just had breakfast in the morning which was average fair but the big plus was they served it until 11.30 a.m. Now thats what I call meeting customer needs after a very late/ really early morning night before if you get my drift. To whomever it may concern, I have to say I would never stay in the holiday inn in killarney again the beds were so uncomfortable. They don't give cash back so I had to go half way down the road in the rain in order to have a drink in the bar of the hotel. The swimming pool was dirty. There was a big red stain on the carpet in my room don't no if it was wine or blood my daughter was petrified incase it was blood. 2 of the towels in our bathroom were dirty. Thanks Debbie Healy

The room and the Hotel service was nice. The staff are nice and the food was great. However, food kids desert is always Ice cream. Would have been better if kids could have something else too. Also, kids suppose to have drink when adult drinks tea after meal. Orange juice would be nice. We didnt know we could ask for side food with our mean on the first night. We left the dinning all hungry. Other two nights of our 3 night stay, we had chips/marshed potatoes and it was nice. So, please, ask, you will get. The whole stay was nice and fantastic, but the lack of no internet connection either in the room or the slow connection at ONLY reception area was too bad for Holiday Inn Hotel. It spoilt the fun for kids who has their ipad ready to use

Great hotel, very friendly helpful staff, lovely facilities, room very clean. Disappointed with the standard of food in the bar - have previously eaten there and this visit was not up to par - luckily the staff made up for it. I thought €7.50 to rent a kids movie in the room was a bit steep considering how cheap it is to buy a dvd these days but it was handy to have the facility.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn on a 2 B&B and 1 evening dinner break. It turned out to be superb value. It is located within a five minute walk of Killarney town. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were polite and professional, The decor was a little dated as would be expected from a hotel of this vintage. The leisure center and bar areas were both pleasnnt to occupy and good entertainment was available in the bar both evenings of our stay. An all round good value hotel for a relaxing weekend. Reccommended.

Our stay in the Holiday Inn was very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly, Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Evening meal was very nice just a bit dissapointing that it was two course only!!!!!!. The Bedroom was beautiful with loads of room, we were very lucky to get a bed sit. Hygiene was excellent. Over all Iwe were very happy with the hotel.

Great weekend. Kids loved it. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. A lot of positives. On the negative side it was too easy for kids to purchase films on the TV without you knowing....should be a parent lock in place. The swimming pool area needs a drastic over haul. The Jacuzzi wasn't the most inviting and the steam-room was a bit grotty. That said, I would use this hotel again.

Very pleasant overnight stay, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, excellent dinner. Maybe receptionist could advise guests about regulating aircon in rooms, we only realised next morning that we could have turned down heat, heard other guests complain about heat also. As another reviewer mentioned, coffee is not good, same with chowder which I had on arrival. All in all I would readily reccommend this hotel to visitors to Killarney. good location for visiting lakes, Muckross House and other sights.

Excellent value for money. Kids under 12 were free!We stayed for 2 nights and used it as a base while atteding a wedding. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. We will stay there again when down kerry direction. My only gripe was that the pool wasnt open untill 3pm and the kids wanted a swim before we had to check out at midday.

Hotel was so accommodating with my booking. Extremely helpful on the day we arrived. uPGRADED TO A SUITE AS IT WAS MY MOTHERS 60TH BIRTHDAY. rOOMS VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. HOWEVER, Meal in the hotel was awful in many ways. Again service was excellent. The worst part of the stay was the experience in the leisure centre, lockers hanging off, shower rails full of rust, cracked tiles and broken doors. The Jacuzzi stunk of must and mould. The steam room was full of rust and just didn't feel healthy to walk in the leisure centre let alone use it. This was very disappointing.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 1 night in September and our experience in the Holiday Inn Killarney was fantastic. The staff on the front desk were polite, helpful and very friendly. Our room had 2 large double beds and was very comfortable and clean. We were in a room very close to the pool area which was a concern for me as I thought it would be very noisy, but I need not have had any concerns as there was no noise and the close proximity to the pool was great for us as we were able to change into our swimming costumes in the room and come back and have our showers. The pool though small was lovely and the warmth of the pool water was a pleasant surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our swim here. Dinner was gorgeous and breakfast just as nice. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending the Holiday Inn Killarney and I can't wait for our next trip to Killarney.

We had a lovely stay here. We were mostly happy with everything. The only negative was our room. We booked a family room which we assumed consisted of the separate dining area. Unfortunately we were given two double beds. Not really suitable with a two year old in tow. Apart from that it was clean and comfortable.

Have previously stayed at this hotel, but find that the hotel and facilities are becoming a bit tired. The room location was ideal for the kids for the pool, but the decor and cleanliness stadards have dropped. Food in the restaurant is very overpriced for the quality and the kids menu is quite expensive for the very lmited choices. Beds very uncomfortable and one of our beds had collapsed in the centre and a number of lights in the room were not operational. Breakfast quality of food very limited and very dry and non-appealing, Will be a while before we decide to come back. This used to be a quality hotel, but standards have dropped.

Overall a good and enjoyable stay, though we did have a number of issues. We found the rooms and pool area to be somewhat run down looking, and in need of some repair. The TV reception was not the best, which would be important for family friendly hotels. Also TV's with USB facilities to allow guests bring their own movies to keep kids entertained while in the room would be important in family hotels, and also for business travellers. The shower in the room wasn't working, but this was not a big issue as we showered in the pool dressing rooms, but would be an issue for other guests potentially.I meant to say this to reception when checking out, but never thought of it. We had also a booking for a cot bed in our booking form, but were told when checking in that we hadn't booked one. Not sure if this is an issue as regards information from the online booking going correctly to the hotel. The Bar was fine, but the food was only average. We would eat in the resturant if we were staying again. The breakfast was good.

A nice and comfortable hotel minute away from the city center and the Park, with friendly staff, tidy rooms and very prompt room service. We stayed for 2 nights B&B and would definitely recommend "Lidl hotel breaks" for a nice family break that doesn't break the budget.The restaurant offers nice meals at very reasonable prices, though with a very basic menu selection. Breakfast offer again - basic but very nice and tidy. Swimming pool small but overall leisure center very clean and again family friendly. WiFi very good in the front area, would be nice to have in the rooms as well.

Stayed for 1 night on the lidl dinner b&b deal. Excellent value for family of 2a & 2ch. Kids dinner was extra @ €10each. Food was nothing to write home about but very edible. Staff were really nice and welcoming both in the restaurant and at reception. We used the pool which was small but quiet and there is a separate kids pool aswell. also they had a kids supervised playroom which my kids loved. Planning to visit Killarney again in dec for their Xmas village and will definitely book another lidl d b&b deal for holiday inn Killarney:)

Stayed here with a group of friends for a 1 night stay. Found the hotel in an ideal location, few mins away by car/ taxi from killarney town centre ideal if you just want to check out the social scene with friends. Hotel itself was in great condition. Very clean and adequately furnished! Rooms were spacious and when we booked twin rooms it was a lovely surprise to get 2 double beds! Check in staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. Also found the management to deal with issues promptly. E.g. Had a problem working our shower in our room and when I phoned reception, they had one of their senior staff up to the room within minutes and he too was very helpful. I will most definetely be returning to this hotel again when we are back in Killarney and hopefully stay longer. I would also recommend to anyone. Ideal for families/ groups.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Killarney last weekend and I must say it was a really enjoyable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. I stayed in a double room but my friends stayed in a twin room and got a double bed each in the twin room! Staff were very friendly. We had bar food Sat it was lovely. Reception also rang taxi's for us which literally arrived within mins. Breakfast Sun morn was the highlight! Both full Irish and continental breakfasts available. Not only would I recommend Holiday Inn but def recommend Today fm breaks. Hotel and breakfast for 39e pp. if this is considered 3 star i look forward to seeing what you rate as four or five star!!

usually very pleased with this hotel as we have stayed there a few times before. but to be honest wasnt impressed this time. the wall paper in the room was coming off the wall. the tv wasnt even tuned in properly (even though the satelite was right outside our window) we booked a family room- looked like a double room to me.. some of the light switches did not work, and there was hair on the duvet cover.. hair drier also caught on fire

Excellent hotel in great location, just 15 mins walk outside Killarney. Hotel is exceptionally clean, modern, rooms are excellent, very nice bar & leisure centre, loads of secure free parking. Breakfast was as good as you'll get anywhere. The service and staff were first class and very friendly. Asked for a quiet room and I sure got it, couldn't believe how quiet it was. Asked for iron in reception, and it got to the room before I got back from reception. We were verry impressed with our stay and will deffinately be back soon.

5 adults and 2 children stayed at The Hoilday Inn Killarney over the mid term. It was excellent the family room was large,comfortable,spotless and very convenient only one door away from the pool my children were delighted.This hotel is perfect for familys i would not go passed it. My husband & I stayed one night at the Holiday Inn in Killarney at the weekend. To our surprise it was first class, On arrival we were asked whether we wanted to book our evening meal. Both dinner & breakfast was one of the best we have eaten in a hotel worldwide. It was so fresh and hopefully it continues to stay that way. The room was spotless comfortable & convenient. The bar was very pleasant & we were sorry that we could not sample the menu there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. For anyone visiting the INEC it is only 10 minutes walk. We had a lovely one night break in The Holiday Inn Killarney on Valentine's night 14th Feb 2012. Everything about this hotel was excellent, from the friendly staff to the lovely bedrooms to the late breakfast 'til 11.30am. The hotel has a 20 metre pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi - excellent. The food was also very good - no complaints. We'll be back. 4 Star rating

For the most part we enjoyed our stay at Holday Inn Killarney. We had a very nice room. There was 2 large beds, bedlinen was perfect, everything was spotlessy clean. Bathroom & towels perfect..... no shower caps tho!!! Also only 1 spare pillow & the t-bags or sugar were not replenished after our first nights stay.....No breakfast cards or "do not disturb/please service this room "cards on door handle. I know all these items could be requested but they should be standard items really.. We did use room service for breakfast by ordering from reception and it was delivered on time.. Also we used the pool and it was clean & well kept also there was lifeguard. We enjoyed food in the bar on 1 evening and the service was very good. All the staff we encountered were lovely & helpful... A good expericence overall !!

Evening meal was to a very high standard and breakfast equally as good. Overall excellent value for money. Swimming pool was small but none the less was spotlessly clean and never overcrowded. clean, comfortable, good food, and a 10 minute walk into town. All the staff helpful and friendly, would definately go back.

The Holiday Inn Killarney is a lovely hotel, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our dinner was fabulous and breakfast was plentiful! We really enjoyed our stay here and the lidl price is brilliant value.

great value for money lovely hotel will go there again, when there isnt as many young children around, lovely area to visit. the staff are helpfull and friendly and the food is top class.

lidl breaks are fantastic value . i have stayed in the holiday inn before but i must say that it was only briellient this week. the foood was fantastic and the staff in the resturant were brilllient , i am tryihng to book a break in dublin at the moment as they are so much good value and i tell everyone about them . thanks lidl

we had a very pleasant stay in The Holiday Inn in Kilarney. lovely location on Mucross Road. hotel was very clean and staff very pleasant.it was great value for money.we had a great breakfast and you didnt have to get up too early as breakfast was frm 8 to 11. i would definetly go back again.

Reception staff were very friendly & very helpful - the perfect start to our stay. Dinner was only ok, buffet breakfast, plenty of everything. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

ENJOYED OUR STAY IN THE KILLARNEY INN ,KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME,STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL,HOTEL WAS GREAT VALUE,THANKS TO THE LIDL BREAKS OFFER,WE WILL BE LOOKING TOWARDS LIDL BREAKS NEXT TIME ROUND AGAIN,EXCELLENT VALUE

Very friendly professional staff. Rooms very clean and spacious. Meal and service in resturant was excellent. Great value for money and hotel great location within walking distance of town centre.
