Pool was excellent, sauna and steam was open too which was great. Breakfast was great, lunchtime was a bit manic so we went somewhere else but overall great value for money. Very close to nice bar/restaurants

It has been a great experience staying in Ashdown Park Hotel. Professional and friendly staff all the way through. Excellent service at breakfast and dinner time. Very good quality food, fresh and local, served and presented with paying attention to details. You can notice this tendency not only in food serving areas as overall interiors in the hotel are superb. I was there with my two kids, too old for kids club unfortunately, but otherwise you can leave your kids in adult free zone:) and enjoy your little quiet time. We used swimming pool a lot and it was so fun. There is safe toddler pool and middle hight pool has big area with powerful jacuzzi and fountain so you can have fun with your kids there. For adults jacuzzi, beautiful sauna and purple light steam room to unwind is also available. Overall I would recommend staying in Ashdown Park Hotel Gorey with no hesitation.

The only fault I would have with this hotel is the bar prices Which I taught were very expensive . Otherwise all good and I enjoyed my stay .But I would stroll down the town for a drink .

The staff are friendly and helpful,the bedroom was very comfy and very spacious...but the best thing about our stay in the Hotel was the great food..wow for hotel food it was 100%...have been to this hotel before and will be back without a doubt..

Staff very helpful friendly just room my friend was in 111 found hair in shower also on 1pillow n piece on paper on floor need a final check by supervisor before allowing new visitors in otherwise all good. Could have more on menu in dining room bar menu very good. Also €10 supplement for steak far 2expensive already charging enough for it without a extra €10 thanks

Lovely spacious room which was immaculately clean. Excellent dinner with good service. Very enjoyable stay and very helpful and professional staff.We will certainly be back as soon as we are able.

We had a great break in the hotel. The rooms was great size for family, spotless and food was fantastic, the kids loved the pool, everything was great kids club open aswell, however my only negative is, 2 girls we young, and didn’t seem very sociable or friendly, later that evening we went for our children to play, 2 3yesr olds, only children at the club, they were not allowed into toy room as was movie time, I found this a bit silly, as there was no one else at club. Was very disappointing, after this we spoke an my husband then informs me that one of the girls said quite abruptly to him earlier that day while we were all in toy room ( with no other kids in club AGAIN) who are you here with?! So for this reason the skills of young girls doing kids club aren’t very friendly. My only down fall, I would most definitely go back! I just hope the running of club will have changed by then. Also bar food beautiful we had a young man serve us, very helpful and polite. All in all great family hotel.

nice size of the family room,but the window is facing the parking area can here people dropping in and out through the night , good food; but when we checked in the room, the bath (SHOWER area) wet and hairs , stains not really clean away, swimming pool water splash broken,

Very nice hotel though a bit disappointed with dinner menu. On the night of 8 October 2018 I ordered rib beef only to be served brisket! To top it off they had no ice cream for the desserts!! Come on this is meant to be a 4 star hotel.

Enjoyed our stay Ashdown Park Hotel on 25th and 26th May 2016. Room very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast menu was very varied and the food was excellent. We didn't use the leisure facilities. Hotel is within walking distance of town (5 minutes to town centre) and there is a great variety of shops in the town. Courtown is just 10 minutes from the hotel.

My parents had a lovely stay as usual in the Ashdown as they really like the hotel, staff & the food was lovely. The only complaint was that there was awful noise throughout their 3 night stay due to building in the hotel. They were not informed of this prior to their arrival so they did speak to the manager in relation to this and are still waiting to hear back. Other than that very happy with their stay. We stayed 2 nights in this hotel on Sunday 8th and Monday 9th May. Our stay exceeded expectations. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant on the Sunday and it was very good. We had a steak in the bar on the Monday and that was lovely too. We will definitely return.

Would give this lovely Hotel Top Marks. It is a great location, lovely Leisure Centre plenty to do in the surrounding area. Had food in the Bar during our stay and while it was the busy Easter Weekend there was a bit of a wait but when the the food came it was delicious, hot and generous size portions. The Staff definitely deserve a mention they were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. A small tiny gripe would be the cooked breakfast was a bit cold but all you had to do was ask and they would happily heat it up for you.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel, we had a lovely stay, staff were very friendly, kids club was super, allowed us to enjoy our meal in peace, the dinner included in our deal was very nice. Pool area was grand and warm. Would recommend this hotel deal to anyone and try to get it again myself.

It was lovely to stay again at Ashdown Park. Friendly helpful staff and delicous food - plenty of Gluten Free options especially at breakfast - delicous granola. Comfy bed, clean room - the only negative was the old fashioned monster TV in the room. then again - we dont go to watch TV! Definately will call again

Really enjoyed 2 day break to Ashdown Park Hotel - Staff very friendly and helpful and food was fab. Kids really enjoyed it the pool and the kids club for Halloween. Walking distance from Gorey. Would definely go back again and would recommend it to any one .

This did not feel like a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated. We didn't find the staff helpful, it took the bar staff 20 mins to figure out how to put the lidl dinner deal through the till. The receptionist didn't even ask how our stay was when we checked out. We would not stay here again.

Fantastic stay - lovely hotel. Close to beautiful beaches & fab boutiques. We used the leisure centre & it was lovely. Great menu in the restaurant & food was beautiful. Staff were friendly, very accommodating
