Well decorated, old style furniture in the bar/lounge area, very comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful. Nice rooms. Very good selection at breakfast.

Everything was lovely about the Hotel! Great for families! The only complaint I would have is that the room was quite small for two adults and two children! It was a bit of a squeeze!

Myself and my mum went for two nights and had a wonderful time. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The room was extremely cozy and great spa facilities in the leisure centre. The location is perfect for a wander into the town. Couldn't recommend more.

We booked a break the bar was table booking only and service very slow to get a drink. Our spa booking the massage lasted only 20min and 3 of the rooms were out of service in the spa very little to do in it. The rooms were fine but the stairs and rooms needed a better clean. Breakfast fab but the whold book a table for the bar and staff igoring you and asking you to move out of a table that was not reserved made me definetly not return. I did notify the hotel but got very little hop just thats the policy when busy especially at Christmas!!!!

Bar menu somewhat limited for evening dining but otherwise very efficient staff and felt very relaxed in the library bar area where we were seated. Loved the banana bread and variety of foods at breakfast. Loved the pool and hydro pool. Beds very comfortable and rooms quiet. Overall a very nice experience and wil definately be returning. ????????????

Driveway on way in is stunning. Ample parking. Pool and gym area well equipped and excellent. Sleep was exceptional except that the fire alarm went off at 4am. It was quickly turned off but I couldn't get back to sleep. Breakfast was excellent but the food in the bar while tasty I thought was expensive. Staff were all excellent.

The staff was lovely, the food was excellent. We tried the swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi, it was really relaxing and clean. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing we found is that the bed was a bit too soft.Other than that, I highly recommend.

Hotel staff were amazing from giving activity packs upon arrival, to kids club, to exceptional breakfast. Our children said out of 5 stars they give it 10! The staff in leisure centre were very welcoming. Food was tasty. We will definitely go back.

A nice hotel, nice surroundings and playground. Friendly staff. A few bottles of water in the room would be nice. Room was a big tight for space. Walls like paper, could hear people talking outside when we were in bed. Hot breakfast could have been a bit fresher

Hotel was great, staff were exceptional!!! very friendly and really good with smaller kids. Relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. We would definitely go back again. Playground/pool and kiddies club were brilliant and kept them occupied all day. Price was very reasonable too

Lovely hotel very friendly and helpful staff. We ended up staying additional 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely every morning with a great selection. Only flaw was their bar menu was quiet poor in selection and the kids meals portions were quiet small.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel on the most stunning grounds. Hotel staff are exceptional and did everything to make our stay lovely. I highly recommend pre-booking into the Solas Croí spa and relaxation suites as it topped off our visit perfectly. The food in the Gallery restaurant is a must try too. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Food in bar only okay and overpriced for what it is. Went to the bar for a quiet pint around 10.30 p.m. but there was "entertainment" there: guy with karaoke machine and saxophone shouting songs. Retreated to the lobby where I could still hear shouty guy but also racket of wedding band from hell through open function room doors. Breakfast decent. Staff friendly. Bed comfy. Leisure centre good. Won't be rushing back.

The staff weren't very friendly it was a bit outdated the food menu wasn't great there was nothing on it that I could eat and didn't change every week and it's the only hotel that didn't have sports channels that I know couldn't fault the breakfast lovely. Would I go again no .

My husband and myself had a great two night break .It was a valentines gift. The staff were very friendly the food was very good.The leisure centre was very relaxing kept very well .Didn't try the spa. Will do on my next visit will definitely stay there again.

It is not a 4 star hotel but I enjoyed it but at breakfast I waited so long for toast and coffee I had finished my breakfast and asked 3 times for toast and coffee it eventually came but toast was cold Need to sort breakfast out staff all over the place also my room was not ready when I went up it was not hovered staff need some training

What a wonderful hotel stay experience we had when we stayed in this lovely hotel. The staff are absolutely outstanding. Our son had his birthday the day we stayed here and upon arrival there was a lovely " Happy birthday" written in chocolate on a plate with fruit and chocolate sweets,which he was thrilled with( I had asked them to do something small for him ) . Then I mentioned it in passing to a lovely waiter, Oisin that the birthday boy could order his brekkie first and didn't the lovely lad bring him out a little biscuit cake with a candle in it and all the staff sang him happy bday. It was such a lovely gesture. The pool is amazing and we had ample time in it. The food was truely scrumptious and other lovely waitress, Franzesca made our evening so special by being so pleasant and supper efficient. Also, there were two weddings on that weekend and we were not left waiting for our food or felt overlooked in any way. Overall , we will return and I will be singing this hotels praises. Thank you to all the staff at the Brandon House Hotel. Please keep up your good work.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel more a 3 star. Hotel needs updating parts very run down not suitable for kids nothing for them to do only pool and no fridge in the room to store water! Staff very helpful and food was nice. Location not near anything.

Arrived on SUnday 5th for 2Bb + 1 evening meal. 2 adults and a10 yr old and 5 yr old. Staff very professional, friendly, obviously quite busy Easter weekend, family room was small, camp bed for 5 yr old very hard, squeaky beds uncomfortable. However we were meeting other family members so weren't in rooms much anyway. Carvery on Easter Sunday was very busy and in an unusual place given the big crowds. Evening meal included was excellent, from menu choice to service,even better kids went off to the kids camp in the evening so was added bonus. Surprise to note there is no lift which will be difficult for some people. Improvement could be made around price of wine at 35 euro for a half decent Rjoja, hubby had cheeseboard which if it came with a information card about if cheeses were local etc would be a nice touch. Overall enjoyed our stay would go back, deserves 3.5 stars as beds poor, family room very small, staff very good, beautiful surroundings and very near local attractions, Hook, Dunbrody FAmine ship etc.

Family break - really enjoyed our stay - kids (16 and 11) both want to go back again! Only complaints: - too much chlorine in the pool, - booked the restaurant for an evening meal but then found out it only served a 3 course set menu for 28.50 for adults (waitress said the a la carte was not available even though the hotel info pack said a la carte was available). Food was lovely but we would have eaten in the bar or ordered room service instead if we had known this as we only wanted a main course. Note - restaurant also served a kids menu which was good value.

Good value for money with excellent pool facilities and breakfast. Rooms a little small but comfortable. Down side was bar was very busy, was very hard to get a table for bar food, had to sit at bar table with uncomfortable stools. All staff very friendly and very good location.
